Retaliator Flyby

How low dare you go?

A threat sweep is only as good as how close you get. Take the CRS jet down the Cape Town foreshore, past Table Mountain and Lion's Head, and score on your clearance over the stadium — the lower you skim, the deeper the scan. Free, no sign-up, and your best run stays in your own browser.

Low pass · deep scan

How it works

Low is the whole point

Clearance is scan depth. Cruise over at altitude and you get a satellite view worth almost nothing; skim the roof and you get a full-depth inspection worth a hundred times more.

Out of scope ends the sortie

The red dashed line above each site is the edge of your authorisation. Climbing over a building is not a way around it — fly out of scope and the run is over.

Hadedas and rogue drones

After the third site the airspace stops being yours alone. A hadeda will ruin your day; so will an unauthorised device loitering where it should not be.

Redundancy buys you a life

Catch the gold wings and a green-and-gold failover wing joins your formation: double points and a second aircraft. It flies on your input, and it takes the next crash for you.

Scan depth tiers

Every pass is graded on the lowest clearance you reached across the site. The bands are the same ones the game announces as you fly.

ClearanceTierWhat it means
0–2 mZero DayUnder two metres. You found what nobody else was looking for.
2–5 mDeep PacketNothing gets past an inspection this close.
5–12 mFull SweepA proper look at every layer.
12–25 mPerimeter ScanYou checked the edges. The inside is guesswork.
25–50 mSurface ScanEnough to fill in a form. Not enough to find anything.
Over 50 mSatellite ViewTechnically you flew over it.

The joke has a point

A scan you run from a safe distance tells you almost nothing. The findings that matter are the ones you only see when you get close enough to be uncomfortable — and the reason most organisations never get there is that close is where the risk is. That is the whole game, and it is also the argument for having someone else fly the pass for you.
